It all started with a college photography class. One darkroom session and I was hooked. These days the chemical laden darkroom has become a computer and a hard drive, but I'm far from complaining. Even with the advent of the digital age and the introduction of computers to photography, I still believe in the magic of photography, in capturing the moment for you to cherish and remember for all time. I do my utmost to convey the truth of the moment. Sometimes editing is required to convey the feeling of the day or image, sometimes it isn't. Either way, I love it.

While my love of photography started while I lived in Washington state, my wedding and portrait skills were honed in southern California with premier wedding photographers. I learned that a wedding photographer does not stand still and does not stand out. I learned that the best portraits aren't always the perfect smile on the perfect pose. I learned how much I LOVE photography.
